About Straight Shot Shooting

Beginning in 1996, after enlisting in the Marine Corps and furthering my knowledge about multiple firearms, the passion fully ignited and expanded from there. In November of 2020, I became a certified NRA instructor, adding to my list of qualifications, and furthering my expertise in the field of training and teaching the skill of weaponry. My commitment to quality instruction, exceptional service, and incomparable, individualized customer care, keeps my community and clients coming back again and again to further hone their own skills. I never stop personally improving and am continuing to expand my offerings based on how I can best serve my clientele.

Jesse Murphy is a 20 year Retired United States Marine. He has visited and worked in multiple countries around the world, including 2 combat tours and 5 additional deployments across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia. He has training and hands on experience in different forms of combat and non-combat security situations. He was also responsible for training instructors for the Marine Corps Martial Arts program as a Black Belt Instructor Trainer, this is ultimately what created the fitness pursuit.
